Static website is a website whose contents are static / not changing. Static websites are just like the brochure. The difference, brochures printed and distributed, while a static Web site hosted and accessed via the Internet.
Once a static website online right on the internet, generally little to change the website content. Often a static website is compiled from plain html pages are inter-connected by hyperlinks on the server side without programming because the objective is 'limited' displays information on the Internet.
Application of static websites we often find on the company profile website, personal profile, product offerings website, and all websites that aim to communicate in one direction from the owner of the website to visitors without the necessary interaction.
Dynamic Website
Dynamic websites are websites whose contents are changes frequently. The application of this dynamic website often be found on the internet today: Portal news, blogs, social networking sites, etc..
Dynamic Websites site always have a program that works on the server side because over time it changes the content of the website. So, one of the characteristics of dynamic website is a program that runs the server side to manage changes in data displayed by these dynamic websites.
The relationship between static / dynamic website and blogging?
Blogs, in general today is a dynamic website. We can easily add content on our blog. Simply go to the dashboard, write, and publish.
Now we have to understand that the blog is a dynamic website. Therefore, there is one more concept we understand as well: There is a server side programming that we use to manage the data displayed on our blog. Well, this brings us to one other concept: Content Management System (CMS).
